KBK Flexible Modular Suspension Crane
The KBK flexible modular suspension crane uses standardized modular components that can be configured for different workstations and material handling requirements.
Product Details
The KBK flexible modular suspension crane combines standard KBK straight track sections with other standardized components. Horizontal and longitudinal travel of the trolley and main girder enables material handling across the working area, making the system suitable for a wide range of production facilities.
Its highly standardized components allow the runway to be extended, shortened, relocated or reconfigured as process layouts change. The span of the crane girder can also be adjusted within the appropriate range.
The KBK system uses an internal travel arrangement with nylon wheels and rolling bearings running inside the track. This compact design reduces friction, enables smooth travel, limits track wear, absorbs vibration and helps extend track service life.
Upper and lower ball joints in the suspension assembly allow limited runway movement and reduce impact on the supporting steel structure. Bolted connections simplify track leveling, while the hinged girder suspension helps prevent trolley binding.
Standard KBK components can be combined into monorail systems, single-girder and double-girder suspension cranes, jib cranes and stackers. Curved tracks, switches and turntables can also be customized for specific material handling requirements.
